     Welcome to the Mayflower, our second home-away-from-home on Galveston Island we’d like to
     share with you. Named by our daughter, the Mayflower is a gentle giant that welcomes visitors with
     a strong calmness. The spacious Beachfront House gives you a beautiful view and relaxing retreat.
     Whether your preference is sunbathing on the quiet beach or an early morning jog; wading into
     West Bay for fishing or crabbing with the grandkids, this is the perfect house for you.

     Situated one house in from the Galveston, Texas, sea shore, our four-bedroom, three-bathroom,
     central air-conditioned home that sleeps up to 12 people is located far enough away from main
     streets to offer all the peace and quiet you’ll need in order to hear the ocean’s breaking waves day –
     or night. However, if you choose civilization, you’re minutes away from Galveston’s wonderful
     attractions and nightlife. Whether with your entire family or on a romantic vacation, you’ll find that
     Galveston is home to exciting entertainment possibilities.

The Mayflower has a private deck on the roof for
discreet sunbathing with a perfect view of the surf,
sand and blue skies. It is ideal for late night star
gazing or an intimate location to get your best
tan ever!

t wide open spaces Here is an opposite-angle view of the living room/dining room and part of the kitchen. If you look carefully above the clock and past the ceiling fans, you can see the Mayflower’s second-floor balcony that overlooks the entire living room, dining room and kitchen areas. The door in the far-left corner opens to a large bedroom with a private bath, king-sized bed and door to an outside deck.

The water, the sand, the sky, good friends and family…this is what keeps most people coming back to The Mayflower year after year. It’s a magical experience we hope you choose to enjoy!
	t great entertaining The Mayflower’s kitchen is bright, airy and open. It is set up for counter-top eating or looks out onto the dining room for easy serving and entertaining. It is fully-equipped with dishes, glasses, microwave, stove, large refrigerator and dishwasher—for easy clean-up. All you need to bring are your favorite foods and beverages and you’re set for a good time!
a private retreat u The large, cozy bedroom with king-sized bed on The Mayflower’s first floor is surrounded by windows and comes equipped with its own spacious bathroom and walk-in closet. This private retreat is perfect for those who want a bit more peace and quiet and the advantage of a private deck with gorgeous ocean and/or stargazing views!
	t a welcome addition The Mayflower’s first-floor bathroom with full shower is one of three bathrooms in this large beach home. It is perfect as an extra amenity so your visitors don’t have to walk through your private room to clean up after a sandy day at the beach!
decked out u The Mayflower has three decks that are perfect for lounging, reading, entertaining and/or just gazing at the unblocked views of the ocean. You’ll find the spacious and private decks a great way to enjoy the great outdoors right from home. If you’re a romantic, it’ll be exciting to know you can do some fantastic stargazing from one of the three decks that lead off Mayflower bedrooms.
	t queen-sized luxury The bright and spacious bedroom with queen-sized bed located on the Mayflower’s second floor, of course, also has wonderful ocean views! It is attached to a large bathroom that has two entrances so it can be shared by other second-floor guests.
